A Perfect fit of a Background Design for the show

Hey Hotelgoers! we finally have some Candy eye for you!

What you're looking at the main background design pulled from the show itself. Cumulatively, this should start giving all of you a sense of the visual-style that we developed for the said show, It's an design sensbility that so much echoes a brand of cartoon animation pioneered in the 1940s and 1950s by a now-defunct innovative animation studio known as UPA. in industry circles, of which i'd try to avoid at all cost, this style of Animation is known as Hand-Drawn/Traditional Animation, and it was bold in the stylistic choice made in the big reaction to the hyper-realism of the stuff that was coming out at the time. with our art style inspirations being in the style of The Fairly OddParents, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Happy Tree Friends Clone High, and Grim and Evil (and to a lesser degree, Yin Yang Yo). It is a super cool look that our show's director's Robert Alvarez, Chris Savino, John McIntyre, Dave Brain, Brian Hogan, Rob Renzetti, Rich Raynis, etc. Art Directors Bob Boyle, Don Shank, Elles Gianocostas, David Smith, Tim Biskup, and Robert Schleinig and Executive Producers Danny Smtih, Irene Bedard, Butch Hartman, Maxwell Atoms, Craig McCracken, Genndy Tartakovsky, John Evershed, Joseph Kwong, and Dave Wasson drew upon as they hatched the visual rules of The Suite Life of Hudson & James. while the UPA Style dates back to the 1950's, it had reached its zenith points in the popularity during the 1970's and that is definitely an era we will never forget and we're trying to evoke. Additionally, this here animation style lends itself perfectly to a animated teen-sitcom. It allowed us to create a big signature look the never upstages the actors but rather really makes them stand out from the crowd. Enjoy and Stay Tooned for more visuals coming out in the next coming weeks...Thanks!
